Product Overview

UV-Stabilized HDPE Shade Netting for Greenhouses & Agriculture

HDPE shade netting (also called shade cloth) is a UV-stabilized knitted net used to control light and temperature in greenhouses and agriculture. OMB Textiles manufactures it in 30–90% shading, 40–350 gsm, up to 12 m wide, with 100% virgin HDPE. For stronger reflective cooling, our aluminum shade net reflects heat instead of absorbing it.

OMB shade nets are knit in-house from 100% virgin HDPE with UV stabilization, so they hold their strength and shading performance season after season — typically 2–5 years under normal weather, and longer with correct installation.

  • Regulates temperature and reduces heat load on crops
  • Protects against strong wind, heavy rain and excessive sun
  • Reduces pest entry and lowers chemical usage
  • Cuts energy cost by reducing artificial cooling
  • Improves yield through an ideal growing environment
