Product Overview
Scaffolding safety netting (also called debris netting) is a tough, UV-stabilized HDPE mesh wrapped around the outside of scaffolding. OMB Textiles knits it from 100% virgin HDPE in an anti-tear construction — with a fire-retardant grade available — to catch falling debris, tools and dust and screen the site. OMB scaffolding nets are knit from 100% virgin HDPE with UV stabilization for long outdoor life, and are treated to resist tearing. A fire-retardant grade is available for projects that require it.

Construction buyers learn the hard way that “scaffolding net” is not one product but three — debris/scaffold netting that wraps the structure to contain dust and falling tools, certified fall-arrest safety netting (EN 1263-1 / OSHA) for catching people, and barrier mesh for ground-level demarcation. As a scaffolding net manufacturer, we knit the first category — 85–120 gsm debris and scaffold netting — and we say plainly what it is not: our knitted debris net is containment, not fall protection, and any supplier who blurs that line is a liability on your certificate file. That honesty is why building-material distributors stock us: the spec on the label is the spec in the roll, and the paperwork survives an inspection.
We produce the full construction range: 85–120 gsm in the standard roll formats — 4’×50′, 5’6″×150′, 8’6″×150′ — plus custom widths for system scaffolding. Standard colors are green/black and blue/white, with high-visibility options for perimeter zones. Where code or the main contractor demands it, we supply flame-retardant versions with a dated test report (NFPA 701 or equivalent) — the same spec we shipped for the UAE high-rise project in late 2025 at 120 gsm FR. FR is increasingly not optional: insurers and general contractors are writing it into scaffolding wrap specifications across major markets, and “FR” without a batch test report is a brochure claim, not a certification.
Every roll is 100% virgin HDPE with UV stabilization — the reason a 120 gsm roll survives a full project duration where an 85 gsm recycled roll fails at the tie points by month three. You buy polymer by weight, and heavier rolls cost less per project because they survive to be re-hung on the next one. Weight is checked inline, rolls are measured and labeled on the line, and factory retention samples back every container.
A 40’HQ carries 14–15 tons of scaffold netting — roughly 115,000–175,000 m² depending on grade — with mixed grades and colors in one container as standard. MOQ is 2 tons, sized for a regional distributor’s trial; private-label wrap, roll labels and barcodes are routine. Lead time 25–35 days after deposit; payment T/T 30/70 or 100% L/C at sight; samples free, you cover the courier. 85–90 gsm for short wraps on low-rise work; 100–120 gsm for long-duration projects, demolition and exposed faces. The heavier end costs more per roll but less per project because it survives re-hanging.
No — and the distinction matters legally. Our knitted scaffold/debris netting contains dust, debris and tools. Fall-arrest netting for personnel is certified safety equipment (EN 1263-1 / OSHA 1926.502(c)) from specialist suppliers. Debris mesh must never be used for fall protection.
