Olive harvest netting is a strong, UV-stabilized HDPE sheet spread on the ground beneath olive, almond, coffee or nut trees. OMB Textiles knits it in a dense 85–100 gsm with a reinforced border and eyelets, so harvested fruit falls onto the net instead of the soil — making collection fast, clean and undamaged. Olive harvest netting is a seasonal product with an immovable deadline: the harvest starts when the fruit is ready, and a container that arrives three weeks late is a container that sells next year. Buying from the olive harvest net manufacturer is how Mediterranean distributors and cooperatives protect that deadline. We have knitted harvest nets since 2003 for the olive regions of Greece, Italy, Tunisia, France and Spain, and the production calendar is built around your harvest — tell us your target month and we work backwards from it, including the shipping window. The net itself is equally deadline-proof: 85–100 gsm virgin HDPE that survives being dragged over stony ground, with reinforced edges and knitted eyelets that hold when a full day’s fruit load is lifted off them.
We produce olive nets in eight standard panel sizes from 3×6 m to 12×12 m, covering everything from hand-harvested family groves to mechanical-shaker operations running nets under entire rows. The knitted mesh is gauged so olives stay on the net while leaves and small debris fall through — fruit rolls to the collection edge clean instead of mixing with soil and stones, which is what keeps oil quality deductions off your mill ticket. Custom panel sizes for unusual tree spacing are a production setting for us, not a surcharge.
An olive net earns its money across harvests, not in one. Ours is knitted from 100% virgin HDPE with a per-batch UV-stabilizer dose, speced for 3–10 seasons depending on grade and handling — drag it flat instead of baling it wet and the net outlasts the poles in the grove. Heavier 95–100 gsm grades are the choice where nets are machine-handled daily through a short, intense harvest; 85–90 gsm covers hand-harvest and mixed operations. Every container ships with factory retention samples, so a question in a future season is answered against the actual material you received.
A 40’HQ carries 14–15 tons of olive netting — at 85–100 gsm that is roughly 140,000–175,000 m², enough for a cooperative’s whole season. MOQ is 2 tons with mixed panel sizes in one shipment; lead time is 25–35 days after deposit; payment T/T 30/70 or 100% L/C at sight; samples free, you cover the courier. Match panel size to tree spacing and harvest method: 3×6 to 6×6 m panels for hand harvest around individual trees, 8×8 to 12×12 m for mechanical shakers covering full rows. We make eight standard sizes from 3×6 m to 12×12 m, and custom sizes for unusual spacing.
